Rock climbing
Within the territory of the national park, rock climbing is only allowed in official climbing areas during the time from one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset.

Ice climbing
Mountain climbing can be practiced from January 1st until March 15th on icefalls in official climbing areas of the Slovak Paradise. Difficulty of icefalls is from II/3 up to III/4+.

High rope parks
Moneky land is the safest high rope park in Slovakia – the so-called ‘endless rope’ safety system. 37 obstacles on the trees at the height of 3 – 4 m. 4 circuits with various levels of difficulty, one for the small children (7 obstacles at a height of 1 m). Overall length of circuits: 500 m. Average completion time: 30 – 60 min.

Tarzania Ostrá skala
High rope park is situated 1,5 km away from the Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa ice cave near the Ranč pod Ostrou skalou ranch. It offers zip lines and 23 obstacles set at the height of 5 – 7 m above the ground. Overall length of trails: 458 m (108 m for kids).

Mountaineering club ClimBeer operates the climbing bouldering wall in the yard of the elementary school Základná škola Povýšenia sv. Kríža in Smižany. An area of 100 m2, a height of 4 m, about 500 holds. Clean sport shoes are necessary. Reservation is required.
