Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa
The only cave in the Slovak Paradise which is open to the public. The largest ice cave in Slovakia with the volume of over 110 000 m3 of ice. It was discovered in 1870, opened in 1871. It is one of the first electrically lit caves in the world (1887). In 2000, it was together with the caves Stratenská jaskyňa and Psie diery inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Natural Heritage List. Preparation for the cave tour: warm clothing and solid footwear.
