In the territory of national park the visitors are allowed to move by foot only along marked hiking trails and in the specific areas designed for visitors. Therefore, the animals in a natural environment meet people rarely and adapt their behavior accordingly. National Park Authority monitors the animals by game cameras primarily in the inaccessible parts of the national park outside the tourist marked paths.
With this game camera, installed in November 2021, the national park employees could see wolves just several days after installation. Two hours after wolves, there were some people passing by. One of them found something on the ground, picked it up but left it there.
Two days later, on 19 November 2021 in the morning, the bear family visited this place. At the end of the video you can see that the bear got scared which is most likely caused by the human odor on the object that was left there by people.
